YVEL

Yvel was founded by Orna and Isaac Levy in 1986 and has a rich history of cultivating fine jewelry using pearls, 18k gold, diamonds and gemstones. Yvel is mainly well known for their unique designs using baroque pearls.
Isaac himself was a new immigrant and had difficulties and therefore they have a preference of hiring and helping out new immigrants.

That is how the philanthropic Megemeria ( " in the beginning ") school of jewelry and art started.

The school provides professional training and employment opportunities to Ethiopian immigrants in order to facilitate their integration into Israeli society. All sales of their gorgeous silver and gold plated pieces goes 100% back to the funding of the school to allow others to participate in the school.

Kehilat Nitzanim is planning a visit to YVEL on February 23, 2022 with a guided tour in English.
