Shlomo Rivlin, an eighth generation sabra, spent his professional life in the education field as a teacher and principal.  During that time he wrote textbooks and teachers’ guides for the teaching of Gemarah and trained teachers in this area.  More importantly, Shlomo has been a gabbai at Kehilat Nitzanim for over 20 years!

Ari Gershon was born in Baltimore Maryland, and made aliyah as a child with his family to Beit Shemesh in 1997. After studying in the Meir Harel Yeshiva in Modiin and Yeshivat Hakotel in Jerusalem, Ari enlisted in Golani in 2009. Upon getting married and moving to Jerusalem, he was looking for a warm, friendly and familiar community. Nitzanim has been a perfect fit for Ari and his family.

Matti Munk came from England to Israel for his gap year, to Yeshivat Ma’ale Adumim, and never left. He ended up making Aliyah, serving as a tankist in the IDF and getting his bachelor’s in business and economics from Bar Ilan University. Matti followed this up with a Masters and a Mrs! Married to Nechama, he has 4 children and currently works privately in corporate financing.

Neil Cohen has been a member of Nitzanim since 1992 and the gabbai of the 9:15 Shabbat minyan since he started it in 2008. He is married to Rachel, a physician at Shaare Zedek Medical Center and they have five daughters.  A graduate of Oxford University, Neil is a founder and partner in a number of venture capital firms and a willing organizer of shul kiddushim.

Harold Frolich is a physician whose focus has been health care administration.  Together with his wife Vicki, Harold made Aliyah in December of 2007 from Cleveland, Ohio to join their four children, all of whom were married here and whose families continue to grow. Harold is most proud of being the creator, along with Phil Schwartz, of the Bet Midrash Boker in Baka administered by Torah Mitzion and housed at Nitzanim, and being the founder of Nitzanim’s Shabbat hashkamah minyan along with Bezalel Jacobowitz. He is happy to be part of a kehilah that welcomes such rich involvement.

Bezalel Jacobowitz came on aliyah from NY with his wife and children in 1997. He has been a member of Nitzanim for more than 15 years and has enjoyed watching the community grow. Aside from his role as a gabbai of the 8am weekday and 7:15 Shabbat hashkamah minyanim, he works as a business consultant for start up companies. Bezalel is a proud husband, father and grandfather who enjoys meeting and welcoming visitors as well as new members to the community.

Eli Kadosh is one of the founding members of Kehilat Nitzanim. Over the years he has performed a wide variety of roles among them chairman of the Vaad and finance and building chairman during the construction of the current beit haknesset.  He has also twice led the rabbinic search committees.  Eli has been the kehilah’s representative to the body that chooses Jerusalem’s chief rabbi.  On a daily basis Eli is the gabbai of the 7 o’clock minyan.  Married to Ruti, Eli is a father of 4 and grandfather of 3 who join him in shul every week.

Gil Saada made aliyah from France in 1982. He has been a member of Kehilat Nitzanim for more than 29 years. Gil currently serves on the management staff of Qualitaan organization that facilitates the absorption of French-speaking Jews into Israeli society. Married to Martine, Gil has 4 children and is a doting grandfather.
